Health and safety and the management of risk is central to everything we do at Box & Charnock.

The safety of operatives remains of paramount importance to us. We ensure that all activities are carried out within a safe and healthy environment, free from work related accidents or incidents. Our commitment and application to these principles has been recognised by accreditation bodies that include CHAS, HNBC and SMAS.

The NEBOSH qualified health and safety team provides expert advice to our site management teams, specialist subcontractors and operatives working on our projects.

We ensure that all our staff routinely benefit from identified relevant safety and occupational training, over and above the minimum standards that are required by health and safety legislation.

Although the CITB have discontinued the Platinum Award for commitment to the CSCS cards scheme, we maintain its standards and ensure that all our operatives on site hold the relevant qualification and CSCS card.
