Congratulations go to Jennifer Sturgess, Box & Charnock’s business manager, who recently completed an unbelievably gruelling 5k Warrior Adrenaline Race at Hartham Common, Hertford to help raise money for our chosen charity – The Alzheimer’s Society.
Jennifer has faced her own personal health challenges over the past couple of years which makes the decision to take part in the race and tackle zip wires, giant steps, monkey bars, a blind jump off a scaffolding tower and numerous other climbing and sliding obstacles scattered over a very muddy and hilly route even more impressive.
“I chose to compete in this race as it was a great way to celebrate my own return to health whilst raising money for B&C’s chosen charity, the Alzheimer’s Society, who provides support for those whose health will never fully recover,” said Jen.
The obstacles and course are designed by the expert Regiment fitness team and tests even the fittest athletes to their limits www.warrioradrenalinerace.co.uk
“It was a huge challenge for me but also a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.” Well done Jen!
