Keech Hospice Colour Run
Well done to Donna Vandervelden, office manager at Box & Charnock and daughter Keeley, who took part in the Keech Hospice Colour Run on 17 July..
Donna and Keeley started the 5km (3 mile) Wigmore Valley course in fresh white t shirts but crossed the finishing line covered in every colour of the rainbow! Those fiendish bandits managed to shower the two with coloured powder every time they passed a colour station.
Over 1000 people took part in this event for Keech Hospice and altogether raised a staggering £60,000 which is quite incredible!
Congratulations to the following members of staff who have recently completed a 25km Trekfest charity walk across Brecon Beacons National Park and raised a total of £1479.48 for Keech Hospice.
- Jim Stokes
- Jen Sturgess
- Paul Daly (Jen’s friend)
- Steve Shearer
- Ryan Conway
- Graham Brooks
- Ana Lupan
Charity Golf Day
A big thank you to all those who attended or supported our recent suppliers’ charity golf day in support of Keech Hospice, our chosen charity for the year.
The event at Pavenham Park Golf Club in Beds, raised just over an impressive £8,000 – and we even managed to dodge the rain all day!
