We are delighted to end the year on a really positive note with the news that Box & Charnock has been awarded the Investors in People Standard. Whilst we believe we have always ‘put our people first’, we now have an official accreditation to prove it!
Investors in People is the UK’s leading accreditation for business improvement through people management and provides a wealth of resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow, with a focus on good people making great business.
The whole IIP process has been a valuable experience and we are now in an excellent position to continue our growth plans. By engaging our workforce we will strengthen our ability to attract and retain people we can depend on to deliver high quality work. This means we should also further improve our ability to win repeat business from satisfied customers. The IIP framework, which integrates into our own Pathways initiative, allows us to quickly identify training gaps so we can develop our people to meet the needs of the business as it expands. Working with IIP is a win win situation for our people and the business.
Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “Achieving the Investors in People standard is something that any organisation should be truly proud of. Working with Investors in People inspires and enables leaders, managers and employees at all levels to build their skills, improve their performance and achieve their potential. We’d like to congratulate Box & Charnock on their achievement.”
This is a great achievement for Box & Charnock. The whole company has really got behind it and the commitment we have seen from each and every department has been really impressive. Well done to everyone for helping us reach this annual business target.
