‘Heat on’ at Woodberry Down

The regeneration of Woodberry Down will eventually see the creation of 5,500 new homes located in a waterside setting in Finsbury Park N4. Set in 64 acres and adjacent to nature reserves and a sailing lake, this is one of the largest mixed use schemes of its kind in London.

The development is being delivered in partnership with the Woodberry Down Community Organisation (WDCO) resident steering group, Berkeley Homes, and Genesis Housing Association.

Having delivered previous phases over the last 5 years for Berkeley Capital North East London Box and Charnock began working on the Park Collection early 2016. The scope of work included the provision of an energy centre to provide heat and power to 650 apartments.  “We are delighted to report that we have successfully completed the first milestone of the project, ‘heat on’ to the energy centre,” said Steve Box, joint managing director, Box & Charnock.

“Successfully achieving this key stage of the project, in line with the commissioning programme paves the way for completing the first of the apartments in Block F over the coming months.”
