Santa arrives early for Keech

Santa arrived slightly ahead of schedule last night as he descended on the streets of Bedford complete with a cheery red sleigh, an army of little helpers and bags of festive spirit. Can’t help noticing he looks suspiciously like Guy Riley, Box & Charnock’s senior production manager…….

Guy along with his daughter Evie ‘Elf’ Riley, Jason Benson, Emma Riches, Karis Parratt and Roz Boocock braved a chilly December evening to knock on  doors and rattle collecting tins in order to raise money for our chosen charity this year Keech Hospice.

According to Keech, we did an excellent job “Thank you so much for coming along this evening and collecting a total of £359.44 (and 3 foreign coins!) for Keech Hospice.  We do hope you’ll join us again next year – you were great collectors!

Well done guys, a great result! Ho ho ho!

Keech Hospice provides emotional and practical support to adults and children  from Beds, Herts and Milton Keynes that have been diagnosed with a life-limiting condition.  The Hospice provides its services free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and the aim is to help patients enjoy the highest quality of life, while also providing vital support for their family and friends.

With only around a quarter of its income coming  from statutory sources, The Hospice relies heavily on voluntary donations and fundraising activities by organisations like ourselves in order to secure the additional funds it needs.
